Bill Belichick might be a fan of Taylor Swift, but that does not mean he wants to speak about her amid a tough season.
Back in August, Bill Belichick openly talked about his affection for Taylor Swift. In September, he joked that the popular singer was the “biggest catch” of Travis Kelce’s career.
With the Chiefs getting ready to face the Patriots this month at Gillette Stadium, the 71-year-old is having none of any extracurricular talk.
On his weekly WEEI radio show Monday morning, Belichick was asked if he could get tickets for a co-host so she could meet Swift.
“Taylor Swift should be in attendance. You know I’m a Swiftie, just like yourself. If there are any other tickets that seem to pop up, I am able and willing. … If you would like to make my dream come true in life, I’m all ears.”
Belichick replied, “We’ll pass that along to our ticket department and let them handle it. I don’t really know anything about tickets.”
“What about a postgame meet-and-greet, Bill? Will you be meeting Taylor Swift?
Belichick: “Yeah, I’m really focused on trying to get our team ready to play Kansas City.”

The Patriots head coach will entertain no such discourse now that his team is days away from hosting the Chiefs and Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
It is still not clear whether Swift will visit Gillette Stadium on Sunday. Her attendance at Chiefs games has been sporadic this season since she began dating Kelce. She is currently riding a personal two-game losing streak that started with a loss at Lambeau Field and then this past Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Belichick is mired in the worst season of his 29-year head-coaching career and with his job in Foxboro under intense scrutiny.
New England and Kansas City will kick off at 1 p.m. ET.
