If you weren’t impressed enough with the rapidly growing library of highlight heels from Atlanta Falcons’ rookie running back Bijan Robinson, perhaps this slick overhead angle will do the trick.
On their X (formerly known as Twitter) page, the Falcons showed an overhead angle of a shifty Robinson dancing his way through Green Bay Packers’ defenders to rip off a big run in Sunday’s Week 2 home contest:
We apologize to all of the opposing defenders who have to deal with Robinson’s jaw-dropping moves going forward.
The Falcons stunned everyone when they drafted Robinson eighth overall back in April. Though he was the consensus No. 1 RB prospect, the Falcons already had 2022 rookie standout Tyler Allgeier and do-it-all weapon Cordarrelle Patterson in the backfield.
But we’re already seeing just why Atlanta head coach Arthur Smith wanted Robinson so badly. He’s a dual-threat sensation who can also make big plays as a receiver, having already recorded 10 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown.
As a runner, Robinson has 180 yards on only 29 carries. And it only feels like a matter of time until Robinson gets an increased workload in the backfield.
