The NFL has come down hard on Philadelphia Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro.
The man who everyone knows as “Big Dom” was banned from the sidelines for the Eagles’ 14 game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. And now it’s being announced that the NFL is extending that ban for the remainder of the 2023 season.
The associated press dropped the announcement, meaning the Eagles won’t have Big Dom on their sidelines for Monday Night Football against the Seahawks, as well as their following three games of the regular season. No word yet on whether the punishment will extend into the postseason.
The ban for DiSandro is the result of his involvement in a scuffle on the sidelines with Dre Greenlaw during the Eagles’ week 13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
The two have since apologized for their actions and have moved on. The NFL isn’t finished with the matter, though. We’ll continue to wait and see when they finally decide to allow Big Dom back on the sidelines, if ever.
