Bettor Places Staggering $20 Wager On The Detroit Lions To Have The Most Wins In The NFL

The Detroit Lions are a lot of things, but they are not certainly better with Matt Stafford being gone and Jared Goff being behind center.

That bit of information did not stop one bettor from placing a $20 bet on them to have the most wins during the 2021 season.

Not a huge bet, but that $20 is certainly gone.

If it were to happen, the bettor would walk out with $30,000.

A bettor at @BetMGM has placed a $20 bet that the Detroit Lions will have the most wins in the NFL this year.

The Detroit Lions best record ever was a 12-4 year that came back in 1991 that got them home-field advantage in the layoffs. Unfortunately, the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins had better records.

The franchise has never had the most wins in any season.

The current team is coming off a 5-11 record in 2020 and a 3-12-1 record the season before that. It may be a long time before they become competitive, but certainly going to be awhile before they get to being the best team in the entire league.
