The Falcons are winless heading into Week 3 and it’s all because the team couldn’t hold a 20-0 lead and then a 39-24 lead late into the fourth quarter against the Dallas Cowboys.
The biggest blunder of the game clearly was the Cowboys kicking an onside kick, but instead of members of the Falcons picking up the ball, they waited until it was legal for the opposing team to do so.
It was epic collapse that hurt for many reasons.
One bettor had a 14-team parlay going and needed the Falcons to finish the job. As we saw, that did not happen and that bettor lost out big time.
Brutal.
