Every single year, a starting QB that begins the year behind center will not finish there because of their terrible play on the field.
It will happen during the upcoming season, and it’s just a matter of when, not if.
On Wednesday, the oddsmakers released their odds for which quarterback will be benched first and they have Chicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton as the overwhelming favorite at the moment with +175 odds.
Dalton was shockingly named the starter for the Bears over Justin Fields, but nobody expects him to stay there for very long.
The quarterback with the second-best odds to be benched this season is Teddy Bridgewater and then coming in third is Jimmy Garoppolo of the San Francisco 49ers.
Change can be very exciting for fan bases, and at least two of the top three franchises would love for their young quarterbacks to get a chance to play in year 1.
