Arizona Cardinals superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is widely expected to be dealt at some point this offseason, and there certainly won’t be a shortage of teams interested in his services.
The 30-year-old Hopkins was limited to nine games in 2022 because of a six-game suspension (PEDs) and injuries. This season, the five-time Pro Bowler hauled in 64 receptions for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
DraftKings has released new betting odds regarding the favorites to land Hopkins. The wide-receiver needy New England Patriots are currently the favorites at +350. The Kansas City Chiefs, who are playing in their third Super Bowl game in four years, have the second-best odds at +450, followed by Aaron Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers at +500.
The Baltimore Ravens have the fourth-best odds at +750, and then the New York Giants (also in desperate need of receiving help) at +900.
Hopkins has two years remaining on his contract. Given his age (31 in June), recent injury and expensive salary, it’s hard to predict how much the Cardinals could receive in a potential trade for Hopkins.
Hopkins has recorded six 1,000-yard seasons throughout his career. The perennial Pro Bowler has recorded 853 receptions for 11,298 yards and 71 touchdowns through his first 10 NFL seasons.
