Bernie Kosar was informed that his services with the Cleveland Browns were no longer needed.
The legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback took to social media before the Browns’ final game of the regular season with the sad update.
“Steelers GameDay yet once again I was informed by the Browns that my services are no longer desired or needed. I will not be doing todays radio program.I am shocked & disappointed. Brown & Orange is my life. #UMatter http://Kosar19.Com @BernieKosarShow Go #Browns,” he tweeted.”
It remains unclear as to why the Browns abruptly made this decision.
The Browns are set to play the Steelers in the final game of the regular season on Sunday.
Kosar finished his 12-season career with 1,994 completions in 3,365 attempts for 23,301 yards and 124 touchdowns, 87 interceptions, and five rushing touchdowns.
