On Friday, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit made a huge announcement.
The announcement was that all seven finalists for this year’s Swim Search have been named co-winners.
According to SI, the casting crew selects 12 finalists to move on to the next round from thousands of submissions from aspiring models. Out of that 12, seven finalists were selected to walk in the brand’s annual Swim Week runway show in July.
Broncos cheerleader Berkleigh Wright is among that group of winners from this year’s Swim Search.
Other rookies selected alongside Wright were Penny Lane, Brittney Nicole, Jena Sims, Achieng Agutu, Nina Cash, and Sharina Gutierrez.
Wright is hoping that she can now inspire the next generation.
“Being a member of the Sports Illustrated family and having this powerful platform would help me further myself as a mentor and reach a wider audience of our youth,” Wright explained. “A mentor that demonstrates to our younger generation that you are not limited by your external factors, but rather unlimited by the person you can become from the inside out.”

This is welcome news for the cheerleader since the actual team does not give them much to cheer for every week.
The Denver Broncos are 1-5 and in dead last in the AFC West. It’s looking like yet another lost season.
