Burner accounts have become a thing on social media ever since Kevin Durant got caught forgetting to switch his accounts to comment on a post about Russell Westbrook. Since then, fans have been trying desperately to tie people into having burner accounts on Twitter to either keep up with the news, make comments, or just outright defend themselves from slander.
Now, one head coach in the NFL is being called out for having one.
Apparently, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has his own burner account on Twitter. This information was revealed by Jay Morrison of The Athletic during the latest episode of Hear That Podcast Growlin’.
There’s not much slander about Zac Taylor as the Bengals have been to back-to-back AFC Championship games as well as a Super Bowl appearance.
Joe Burrow has 5 wins in the playoffs in his career. Before him, the franchise hadn’t won a playoff game since 1990. Burrow is expected to be made one of the highest-paid QBs in the league alongside the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson. And based on what he’s done across the last two seasons, it’s only fitting.
This past season, Burrow completed nearly 70% of his passes for 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns, and just 12 interceptions. The team is expected to be near the top of contenders vying to get to the big game yet again.
