Madden Ratings week is upon us, and fans are already upset.
Ja’Marr Chase blew up nearly every coverage he faced in 2021, but EA Sports wasn’t convinced enough to make him an elite-pass catcher. The Bengals top wideout is ranked 25th among pass-catchers with an 87 overall rating. He didn’t even make the top 10 or top 15.
In case you forgot, Chase just had arguably the greatest season ever by a rookie receiver in the NFL. That included a four-game playoff run in which he caught 25 passes for 368 yards (14.72 avg) and one score while nearly leading the Bengals to their first Super Bowl trophy.
In response to the slight by the video game, Chase is planning on using this as motivation.
Davante Adams, Cooper Kupp, Tyreek Hill, DeAndre Hopkins, Stefon Diggs, Justin Jefferson, Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Keenan Allen, and Amari Cooper round out the top-10 list. Each has a 90-or-higher rating.
