Jalen Ramsey vs Ja’Maar Chase is going to be the biggest matchup in Super Bowl LVI.
Tyler Boyd is making it painfully clear that the Bengals offense is not afraid of the elite cornerback.
“We’re not going to not throw [Ja’Marr Chase] the ball because Ramsey is on him,” Cincinnati wide receiver Tyler Boyd said. “They’re going to have to match us.”
“He has traveled with a guy. He has played both left and right corner. He even has clips of when he was in the slot. He’s a guy that can play it all, but we’re not anticipating guys singling out other guys playing them one-on-one. We don’t care what’s going to happen, how you are going to play us. We’re going to continue to play our game. We’re not going to not throw (Chase) the ball because Ramsey is on him. However they decide to play, they’re going to have to match us.”
Ja’Maar Chase has been setting records throughout his rookie season as he generated 1,455 yards and 13 TDs this season. You can’t just pay attention to Chase, because then you’ll get burnt by Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins, who have both been valuable in the playoffs and can be a serious headache for the Rams’ defense.
