The Cincinnati Bengals are engaging in trade discussions centered around Jonah Williams “as the interest heats up,” according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
“The Bengals have had trade conversations centered around LT Jonah Williams, sources say, as the interest heats up in the player who has 47 career starts. Williams requested a trade following the signing of Orlando Brown, and Cincy has heard from several possible suitors,” NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport said.
The former No. 11 overall pick has held down the left side of the offensive line for years, but after the team brought in offensive lineman Orlando Brown, it showed that the team was ready to move on.
The 2019 first-round pick allowed an NFL-high 12 sacks in 2022.
Cincinnati signed four-time Pro Bowler Orlando Brown Jr. to a four-year, $64.1 million contract this offseason.
Down south with the Houston Texans, Laremy Tunsil reset the market at left tackle and earns $25 million annually while Jawaan Taylor is the highest-paid right tackle with a $20 million average salary.
