Traiing camp injuries suck, especially fr young players who want to make the team. Running back Elijah Holyfield went down on the first day of training camp.
According to Kelsey Conway of Enquirer, Cincinnati Bengals RB Elijah Holyfield went down with an injury during practice and was carted off the field.
Holyfield signed a reserve/future contract with the Bengals in February.
Bengals reporter Jay Morrison of The Athletic provided some details.
“Elijah Holyfield down after it looked like he took a leg to the shin on a run play,” Morrison wrote. “Went down hard and immediately grabbed leg. Cart’s out for him. Lot of guys patting him with encouragement.”

Elijah played his college ball at the University of Georgia. He had 215 carries for 1,340 yards and nine touchdowns during his three-year career with the Bulldogs.
