Despite being drafted last year, nobody got a good look at what Anthony Richardson can do in the NFL after suffering a season-ending injury in Week 5 of the regular season.
That’s why this upcoming season, there’s a lot of buzz about what the young 22-year-old can do, especially since he was such a raw prospect coming out of college.
However, it seems that members of the Bengals have Richardson figured out and even trashed his style of play as the two teams are holding joint practices.
According to The Athletic, there were cuntless instances of Bengals players sharing their pretty negative opinions about Richardson.
“Throw the ball, bro!” Bengals defensive tackle B.J. Hill yelled at Richardson, when there was nobody open.
“Is that all he does is run?” cornerback Taylor-Britt said, talking to Colts fans.

“He’s just throwing to spots,” safety Geno Stone said. “He doesn’t see his receivers.”
Of course, his ability to run the ball is one of the many aspects that makes Richardson such a special player, but in today’s game, you must be able to throw the ball consistently and successfully to be a great quarterback.

Anthony Richardson Must Have A Bounce Back Season
As the former No. 4 overall pick, Richardson is highly expected to become the franchise quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts.
That means a few things, such as staying healthy and playing at a high level. Of course, he doesn’t get to pick and choose when he gets injured, but there’s a lot of speculation that his run-heavy approach when on the field is a strong contributor to already missing most of the season as a rookie.
He did show flashes of brilliance last year with 50 completions, 577 passing yards, three touchdowns, and only one interception. He also paired that with a strong run game, getting 136 yards and four more touchdowns.
