The Cincinnati Bengals players came up with the perfect nickname for Arrowhead Stadium during the team’s Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Cincinnati soundly defeated Buffalo 27-10 in the snow-filled conditions at Highmark Stadium, setting up a second straight AFC Championship Game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
NFL cameras caught this awesome clip of Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton referring to Arrowhead Stadium as “Burrowhead” during the game against Buffalo.
Burrow is 3-0 against Mahomes and the Chiefs, with two of those victories coming last season. The two regular season victories against KC came in Cincinnati, and the victory at Arrowhead took place in last year’s AFC Championship Game.
The Bengals defeated the Chiefs 27-24 back in Week 13. That game marks the Chiefs’ most recent loss to date, as they won their final five regular season games before defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Divisional Round.
Over in the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers in the Conference Championship Game at Lincoln Financial Field.
