That was an absolutely brutal way for the Cincinnati Bengals to lose that game today.
They had hung right in there with the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium all evening long. And after 59 minutes and 45 seconds, it looked like both teams would have to settle their epic battle in overtime…
Until Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai committed one of the dumbest penalties you’ll ever see.
Everyone knows you don’t hit the quarterback when he’s near the sidelines, but Ossai’s major brain cramp set the Chiefs up for their game-winning 45-yard field-goal.
Ossai was devastated following the final whistle, and so was defensive teammate Jermaine Pratt, who was calling out Ossai during an emotional outburst on his way to the locker room.

In the video, you can hear Pratt yell, “this that motherf-cker’s last year,” as if to suggest that he’d like to see his teammate cut .
He then asks, “why would he even touch the quarterback?”
I’m sure Ossai will have to answer to Pratt and the rest of his Bengals teammates. You never like to pin it all on one play (or player), but you also wouldn’t be wrong to suggest that the 2021 third-round pick cost his team a spot in the Super Bowl with his personal foul penalty.
