Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has reportedly filed a lawsuit against a woman he says is harassing both him and his mother.
According to TMZ, the NFL star went to court for help on Tuesday as he sought a temporary restraining order against a female named Ambar Hunter. Chase claims to have had a one-night stand with Hunter, who insists they have a child together.
Court documents obtained by said publication note Hunter has shown an “unhinged and disturbing” pattern of harassment that started after he told her he did not want a relationship after their single night of passion.
The wide receiver explained he linked up with the female in July 2021 and she’s been trying to damage his reputation and sponsorships via “calculated and ongoing harassment” since.
As indicated by Chase, Ambar has been using social media to post fake statements about him being a deadbeat father and using photos of someone else’s child to get her followers to criticize him as well.
The WR also accused Ambar of lying about being a victim of domestic abuse while no law enforcement agency can corroborate her statements.

Rather worryingly, Chase charges that the female ranted about him on social media as recently as July and even posted his mother’s personal phone numbers on Instagram, which led to multiple harassing calls and texts.
