Things in Pittsburgh were already bad on the field as the team went into Week 17 needing to defeat the Cincinnati Bengals and pray for the Cleveland Browns to beat the Baltimore Ravens. Only one of those things happened and the team found themselves on the outside looking in for the postseason.
Less than 24 hours later, a scathing report stated star WR Antonio Brown did not miss the game because of an injury, but rather because he blew his top at several teammates and missed practices and still expected to play on Sunday.
While addressing the media on Tuesday, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger says he considers Brown to be a very close friend on the team.
Unfortunately, Brown isn’t feeling so friendly because Roethlisberger stated the all-pro wide receiver is not responding to phone calls or text messages from anybody on the squad.
