‘Beer girl’ is back as viral star Megan Lucky posts footage of her taking on New York Jets fans this week.
Lucky built a reputation for her ability to down pints of beer, showcasing her indisputable talent at the US Open in 2021 and 2022. Unfortunately, the people behind the cameras decided to not have her on the big screen in 2023.
‘Beer girl’ is now adding football to her list having appeared at the Monday Night Football clash between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills.
It was the Jets who won the AFC East clash by a score of 22-16, however, ‘beer girl’ enjoyed a victory of her own when she entered in a chugging competition that she won while inside MetLife Stadium.
“You guys really didn’t think I’d leave you hanging this year, did you? Ps. The beers are bigger here OK!?! Save it, I know,” she wrote.
Boasting 119,000 followers on Instagram, Lucky had previously hinted at taking her talents to another sport after being shunned at the US Open this year.

It seems she may have found her new calling.
After finding fame at the U.S. Open, Lucky wasn’t granted the chance to show her skills this year.
She said: “I just want to address the elephant in the room real quick.
“And for whatever reason, whoever was in charge didn’t want me on the jumbotron [big screen] this year.
“I don’t know their reasons, they didn’t share them with me, but I still had a lot of fun [at the US Open] and I’m at peace with it.
“I know the universe has a plan for me and like I said last time, ‘beer girl’ is a part of me.
“Maybe I’ll take her to another sport that wants her fun-loving energy soon, so look out for that.
“But as for now, this is not the end, it is only the beginning of a new era.”
That new era is in the NFL.
