Usually, fans wait for a player to leave a team before they start burning their jersey. Bears fans are a different breed.
Mitchell Trubisky fell out of favor with the team and the fan base in 2019 and it had everyone thinking of another QB under center in 2020.
During this offseason, the team went out and traded for Nick Foles and the fan base is already loving him over Trubisky. So much so, the fan base has started to burn Trubisky’s jersey.
Bears GM Ryan Pace has already stated the starting QB job is not set and both will have to fight for it whenever off-season workouts begin.
As of right now, we don’t even know if there will be a season due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Bears fans are just making their thoughts and feelings known right now.
