ESPN NFL personality Bart Scott is taking direct aim at Micah Parsons.
Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons is one of those players in the league not afraid to lash out at critics who bring him up and he may be ready to pounce yet again after Bart Scott did not mince a single word when speaking on him.
Scott, a former Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets linebacker, bashed Parsons for not taking a leadership role on a Cowboys defense that allowed 41 points in a 48–32 wild-card playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild card round at AT&T Stadium.
“He’s lacking leadership,” Scott said on Monday’s episode of Get Up. “He doesn’t understand what winning in this league is all about. Is he a great player? Yes, but just because you’re a great player doesn’t mean you’re a great leader. He needs to go to a leadership school and learn how to lead by example and quit talking so much and being so damn sensitive.”
Scott based his opinion of Parsons’ sensitivity on the 24-year-old’s social media activity.
“You’re a linebacker. That’s supposed to be a tough guy spot,” Scott continued. “He’s the most sensitive guy I’ve ever seen. He responds to everything. Get off of social media. Quit tweeting. Quit talking about responding, and go about your business. That’s how you change the culture.”

Micah Parsons and Scott already have a history.
The Cowboys linebacker blasted ESPN First Take analyst Bart Scott for making a senseless joke about the season-ending injury suffered by cornerback Trevon Diggs.
Diggs was ruled out for the remainder of the 2023 season after suffering a torn ACL during practice.
Parsons recorded 64 tackles (36 solo) including 14.0 sacks with two passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery over 17 regular-season games in 2023.
The versatile pass rusher delivered at least 13.0 sacks for the third straight season to begin his NFL career as he finished tied for seventh in the league with Myles Garrett.
