Buffalo Bills announced their new stadium name, Bills Stadium, is temporary as they look for a new naming rights partner. Home of the Bills since 1973, the stadium had its naming rights purchased by New Era for $35 million in 2016 in a seven-year deal but the sports apparel company asked in July to be released from the contract.
That has now led to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy to take to Twitter to state his willingness to get involved.
“After a brief conversation with those who matter I am here to say we are very serious about buying the naming rights of the @BuffaloBills stadium and will enter the process,” Portnoy tweeted.
It would be hilarious to happen, but not likely since Barstool Sports and the NFL have been at war for years. Getting arrested at NFL headquarters and printing up thousands of shirts with Goodell with a clown nose on it is just a few of the things that have happened.

The stadium was first completed in April 1972 and has a maximum capacity of 71,621. That includes 121 suites and 8,262 club seats.
