The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly traded for wide receiver Diontae Johnson in what could be considered a significant move.
According to reports, the Ravens are sending a fifth-round draft pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for Johnson and a sixth-rounder.
“The #Ravens are trading for #Panthers WR Diontae Johnson, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo, as Baltimore loads up,” NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported.

Johnson has been acquired in an attempt to add extra firepower to the Ravens offense.
A Pro Bowler in 2021 and a second-team All-Pro two years prior, Diontae Johnson should present quarterback Lamar Jackson with another formidable target as Baltimore looks to contend for the Super Bowl following last season’s disappointment.

Johnson joined the Panthers via a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers for cornerback Donte Jackson and draft capital earlier this year. He will now have a chance to compete for honors on a team capable of doing something special this season.
