On Sunday, the Ravens will recognize Ray Rice as the Legend of the Game. When that news came down, it was met with a ton of reactions.
The Ravens said Ray Rice will be “recognized for the player he was and for the redemption he has worked towards.”

Rice played six seasons for the Ravens, from 2008-2013, and was a key part of Baltimore’s Super Bowl-winning team in 2013.
Rice rushed for 6,180 yards and scored 70 touchdowns and also caught 369 passes for 3,064 yards in his career.
His numbers likely could’ve been better if not for that moment in that elevator.
Rice and his wife Palmer have now been married for nine years and have two children, Rayven and Jaylen. Since retiring, Rice has moved back to the Baltimore area and now coaches two youth football teams.
He also began a non-profit organization in 2019 that provides sports equipment, toys and mentoring to kids.
