Odell Beckham Jr. has a contract on the table from a team that has a starting QB who wants out of the franchise.
As Odell Beckham Jr. remains on the free agent market for the second straight season, it appears that a couple of teams have emerged as possible landing spots. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens have made an offer to the standout WR.
“The Baltimore Ravens have met with Odell Beckham Jr., they’ve presented him their own offer,” Schefter said on ESPN. “It certainly sounds like it’s the Jets, it’s the Ravens, maybe the Rams still would have interest but those, at this point in time, would be the obvious landing spots.”
The uncertainty surrounding Lamar Jackson’s future could be a strong consideration for Beckham. Although the Ravens have applied the non-exclusive franchise tag to Jackson, the star quarterback announced that he requested a trade.
There hasn’t been much movement on either side since then.
Beckham’s free agency has gone on for a full year when his contract with the Rams expired in the 2022 offseason. Over the season, he met with the Cowboys, Giants, and Bills, but no contract would be offered.

Beckham hasn’t signed anywhere because no team has met his asking price. As a result, Beckham reportedly lowered his asking price after no team was willing to give him around $15 million. Beckham missed the entire 2022 season while recovering from a torn ACL, so he needs a very good 2023 season to rebuild his value.
Baltimore and New York are notable in that those two teams are currently at the center of the two biggest quarterback stories as New York is still trying to work out a trade for Aaron Rodgers, while the Ravens gave Lamar Jackson the non-exclusive tag before free agency.
