Marcus Peters sounds like he’s ready for Round 2 with Jalen Ramsey and the Los Angeles Rams this season.
The Baltimore Ravens cornerback was on “Catchin’ Fades with Aqib Talib,” when he revealed set him off in November 2019 when he got into a heated verbal altercation with Jalen Ramsey.
Talib: “Why you think our exit was so crazy and how you felt about it?”
Peters: “I was pissed off more so because … Oh yeah, f–k them, that’s how I was feeling and that’s still how I’m feeling because I felt disrespected in the sense of, yeah y’all can trade me, that’s apart of the business, but two minutes after that you bring in another guy (Jalen Ramsey) who do the same s–t that I do, maybe a little bit different. If we do this compare game, I do a little bit more. That s–t was disrespectful to me.”
Peters and Talib were teammates on that 2019 Rams team. Peters was traded to the Ravens for linebacker Kenny Young and a 2020 fifth-round pick.
“I don’t think we was the problem [with the Rams],” Peters said Tuesday. “I don’t think we were the issue that was holding the Rams back from taking the steps of where we needed to get to.”
