Baker Mayfield recently was named the starter of the Carolina Panthers and he is clearly ready for Week one.
The former Cleveland Browns quarterback wants to show his former team that they made a huge mistake in parting ways with him and trading for Deshaun Watson.
“I’m gonna f*ck them up,” Mayfield said to a reporter after the Panthers’ final preseason game on Friday.
Mayfield was said to have divided the locker room during his four seasons with the franchise, according to Jason Lloyd of The Athletic. His childish and immature nature often annoyed Browns teammates, Lloyd reports.
ESPN previously reported that the organization wanted an “adult in the room” at the QB position.
