Baker Mayfield is salty about being booed by his fan base yet again, but this time, he is really letting his emotions show on how he feels about those fans.
On Monday, the Browns QB was aksed about being booed and he had a stern reply to it.
“Those are probably the same fans that won’t be quiet while we’re on offense and trying to operate. So, don’t really care.”
He also replied to not celebrating the win with teammates and walking off the field.
The Browns beat the Lions on Sunday, but it was an ugly win. It was such an ugly win for the Browns that Baker Mayfield’s wife Emily Mayfield felt the need to come to her husbnad’s defense.

In an Instagram story that has since been deleted, Emily Mayfield wrote about Baker Mayfield’s toughness while calling out the rest of his Browns teammates.
“No one better say anything bad about @bakermayfield after this game. I don’t think I have seen toughness like this in a while. Maybe the rest of our team should take the hint and get tougher.”
It just feels like we are getting closer to the Browns and Baker Mayfield separating real soon. As explained by Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns and Mayfield have yet to engage in “substantive contract talks.” She adds that talks could happen before the end of the current season.
Mayfield is signed through 2022. He’s due to make more than $18.5 million next season, the option year of his rookie contract.
The Browns currently sit at 6-5 and are in last place in the AFC North.
