Baker Mayfield has been out of college for a year now, but his rivalries are surely not dead.
Following a Sugar Bowl victory Longhorns quarterback Sam Ehlinger proclaimed that Texas was “back.”
Baker is not so sure about that. The Cleveland Browns quarterback boldly stated, “I’m sick of that crap,” in reference to people just throwing out that Texas was back after one victory.
When it comes to Ehlinger — Mayfield said “he doesn’t like me and I hope he knows I don’t like him either.”
This might be the first time ever a current NFL player threw shots at a current NCAA football player in the history of the sport. Baker has way more important things to think about than a rivalry he’ll never play in again.
