Cleveland Browns 2019 season has been so bad that the franchise likely welcomed the distraction of people paying more attention to Baker Mayfield walking into his post-game press conference ready to audition for a “Home Alone” reboot.
Losers of their last four games, the Browns are in free fall and you can definitely point to the QB as a main problem. Mayfield was expected to take a big leap this season and give the Browns franchise some life and establish himself as a young superstar in the league. He has been the complete opposite.
Mayfield has a quarterback rating of 71.3, which is lower than Andy Dalton and Eli Manning, and both of them have seen themselves being benched in 2019.
Not only that, Mayfield is actually having a worst 2nd season than NFL flame-out Johnny Manziel.
He also has the lowest passer rating when he’s not even under pressure, as well as being the only QB with more interceptions than touchdowns.

Mayfield has seven touchdown passes and 12 interceptions, tied with Jameis Winston for the most in the NFL this season and is currently on pace to have more interceptions this season as a Brown (24) than he had in three seasons as a Sooner (21).
Basically, Mayfield needs to start playing better and doing so rather quickly.
