Baker Mayfield’s terrible day just got worse.
While playing in a blowout against the New England Patriots, the Cleveland Browns QB went down with an injury to cap off his rough day.
Matt Judon hit him with a legal tackle and Mayfield was slow to get up. Once he did, he fell right back down.
Mayfield was forced to leave the game. He was replaced by Case Keenum. No word yet on whether Baker will return, but with the Browns trailing by 24 at the start of the fourth quarter, you’d have to think they won’t risk any further damage to their franchise quarterback.
The Patriots pass rush has been all over Baker and the Browns, recording six quarterback hits and four sacks through the first three quarters.
