Rochelle Riley should’ve stayed in her lane.
The Director of Arts and Culture for the City of Detroit recently stepped into a sports related post regarding Lamar Jackson when a professor called out the Baltimore Ravens QB for his reluctance on getting the COVID vaccine.
“Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has refused to get vaccinated and has contracted COVID TWICE. The fact that he thinks the vaccine could be more detrimental to his health/ career than lung and circulation damage is insane. If he harms his team I’d draft another QB next year”
Riley saw that post and responded in the comments:
“He needs to be released. Immediately. Colin Kaepernick is available,” she said.
That was just a bad comment and an overall bad idea. She was roasted by Twitter.

Kaepernick played his last game as an NFL player in a loss to Seattle. Kaepernick opted out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers. Even though he is a free agent, Kaepernick has not been signed since the 2016 season ended where he kneeled in protest of police brutality and overall treatment of minorities.
Lamar Jackson is a young star who has won the MVP and trending upwards with the Ravens. He’s not going anywhere.
