Terrell Owens has six Pro Bowl selections, five All-Pro nods, and three different seasons when he led the league in touchdown receptions on his Hall of Fame resume.
Now he has a touchdown in Fan Controlled Football.
After Owens’ Zappers lost 20-12 in Saturday’s game against the Shoulda Been Stars, he took some time to put in an interview after the game with Chargers running back Austin Ekeler.
He was asked about which running backs in the NFL give off the ‘diva’ personality.
“I wouldn’t call it a ‘diva,’ but they have their own styles or their own swag,” Ekeler started. “[Their swag] is maybe not necessarily, like, normal, so they could be called a ‘diva,’ right?”
Ekeler then went on to name former teammate Melvin Gordon, but did so in a way where he knew he wouldn’t be upset about it.
“He had his own swagger, he had his own drip,” Ekeler said. “You know he had the braids and the dreads, he had it going on man! I wouldn’t say necessarily a diva, but he had his own personality and swag.”

Towards the end, Ekeler appears to say that Gordon was “a little bit diva.”
Last year with Denver, Gordon started 16 games and finished with 203 carries for 918 yards and eight touchdowns. The 28-year-old has spent the last two seasons with the Broncos after playing for the Chargers in 2020.
Gordon is also capable of catching the ball out of the backfield and had 28 receptions, 213 yards, and two touchdowns.
Over his seven-year career, the 2015 first-round pick tallied 6,144 rushing yards with 53 touchdowns, 2,244 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns in 98 games.
