An NFL star is mourning the loss of his agent today following reports of Cameron Weiss passing away at the age of 38.
Weiss, who represented Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler, went through a long battle with cancer before his passing. His agency, Dynamic Sports Group, announced the news this Monday in a statement in which they said he “will be greatly missed.”
“Cameron was a remarkable individual who touched and impacted the lives of so many,” it reads. “His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to his family, friends and clients will always be remembered.”
The agency adds, “Moving forward at Dynamic Sports Group, Cam’s legacy will live on as we continue to serve our family of clients and he would have.”
The statement was shared by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Ekeler took to social media to mourn his agent’s passing. “He will always be a part of my story,” he wrote. “Rest in peace brotha.”
