Ian Rapoport reported on Saturday that there was mutual interest between the Rams and veteran LB Von Miller in a return for the 2022 NFL season.
If he doesn’t return to Los Angeles, Miller has a ton of interest from a number of teams. According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, at least six teams are interested in signing Miller.
“While it’s true the #Rams and Von Miller have mutual interest, I’m told there will be at least ‘half a dozen teams’ interested in Miller’s services that have both the need & cap space as we approach the ‘legal tampering period,’ per league source,” Anderson wrote.
The Broncos traded Miller to the Rams at the deadline for second and third-round picks while also eating most of his remaining salary.
Miller played half of the 2021 season with the Rams after a midseason trade from the Denver Broncos. He finished the season with 9.5 sacks, 19 tackles for loss and 17 QB hits.
In the postseason, he had another 4.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, six tackles for loss and six QB hits.
