Trevor Lawrence’s first career playoff game couldn’t be going any worse.
The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback is having one of the worst performances of his career, throwing four first half interceptions against the Los Angeles Chargers defense.
Three of those interceptions have gone to fellow 2021 draftee Asante Samuel Jr. And following the third one, the second-round sophomore decided to rub it in but counting them all out with the help of his fingers.
It’s not a good look for Lawrence, as the first-overall pick from 2021 is getting thoroughly dominated by the sixth-overall pick from 2020, Justin Herbert.
Barring a miracle, it’s looking like the Jaguars’ fairytale 2022 season won’t be continuing past this weekend. That second-half run was fun while it lasted.
