The Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots are just a few days away from one of the biggest AFC Championship games in recent memory.
The AFC Title game in Kansas City was already on tap to being one of the coldest in history as an “arctic blast” could settle in before and during game with temperatures at kickoff ranging from 10 degrees to well below zero
On top of terrible temperatures, the field seems to be taking quite the beating from mother nature right now. A local TV news station flew over Arrowhead Stadium and the turf has certainly seen better days.
Fortunately for both teams, Arrowhead will be getting new turf just before the big game so this should be solved soon.
