The Arizona area is getting set to welcome thousands of fans from the Chiefs and Eagles when they descend upon that location for the Super Bowl in two weeks. One of those fan bases has at least one restaurant on edge.
Bob Mayo, a GM at The Village Tavern in Scottsdale, recently sent out a memo to his staff warning them of Eagles fans and how obnoxious and rude they can and probably will be.
The memo reads as:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The first team for the Super Bowl has just been decided. The Philadelphia Eagles and their fans will be in town to represent their city.
With that being said, if any of you are from Philly, please don’t take this the wrong way, but Philly fans are some of the most obnoxious, rude fans in the country.
Blue collar, hardworking people.
They are very passionate and love their sports and teams and will be here to bask in the moment.
As hospitality professionals, we need to make sure we show them a great time and make sure we prepare ourselves with their brashness. They will probably be challenging, but we will show them a great time.
-Bob Mayo
Eagles fans may be obnoxious, but if they tip well, they will be welcomed with open arms.
As for their favorite team, Jalen Hurts threw for 121 yards, with no passing touchdowns or interceptions, in the 31-7 win over the 49ers. It was a rather easy game since the 49ers lost Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson in the game.

The Chiefs had a much tougher time to put the Bengals away as they avenged their loss from last year.
