What in the world is going on with the Arizona Cardinals?
The Arizona Cardinals’ social media team is having a little fun with all the interest in Murray deleting lots and lots of content that involves the NFL club and otherwise. Murray’s scrubbing of his Instagram account has been a hot topic during media week leading up to the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Now, the Cardinals’ Instagram action might shed some light on the social media situation. FanDuel personality Gabb Goudy posted a screenshot of the Cardinals’ official Instagram account, which now features only two posts of Murray — one of him on 2019 draft day and a picture of him at the 2021 Pro Bowl.
Both Murray and the Cardinals’ Instagram account scrubbed every post but two.
Murray has been radio silent about any unhappiness he is experiencing with the organization to cause the cryptic move, but it does not look like the franchise is too worried about anything.
Murray has one year left on his rookie deal and this just might be his way of trying to get his extension right now.

This past season, Arizona got off to a hot 7-0 start, but finished the regular season dropping six of its last 10 games, falling to the Rams in the first round of the playoffs.
On Sunday, Murray threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns in the Pro Bowl after a standout season. In his third season, Murray had 3,787 passing yards and 24 touchdown passes. He also had 423 yards and five scores on the ground.
