The third generation of Manning-family quarterbacks is looking pretty damn good. Archie Manning seems to believe Arch is way ahead of the curve that his uncles set so long ago.
According to USA Today, Archie Manning recently stated that his grandson, Arch Manning, is “ahead” of his uncles, Peyton and Eli.
“He’s probably a little ahead of them as a freshman,” Archie said.
The 6-1 graduate of the class of 2023 is currently playing QB for Isidore Newman School, the same school that Peyton and Eli both attended. But it should be noted that Peyton and Eli both played junior varsity as freshmen, while Arch is playing varsity right now.
Arch has already garnered some attention from Tennessee and Ole Miss, his uncles’ alma maters.
Unlike his uncles, Arch actually has mobility to move around and run for yards if nothing opens up down the field. He definitely got that from his father, Cooper Manning, who was a star wide receiver before a serious medical condition forced him to retire before going to college.

Only time will tell if Arch turns out like his uncles or possibly even better.
