On Thursday, the Cleveland Browns announced that they were releasing wide receiver Antonio Callaway.
Soon after his release, it was announced by the NFL that Callaway was being suspended for 10 games for violating the NFL’S drug policy.
Callaway would soon blame the failed drug test on a tainted CBD product and stated his plans to appeal the suspension.
The 22-year-old had eight catches for 89 yards this season. During the 2018 season, he hauled in 43 catches for 586 yards and five touchdowns.
The Browns can’t be too shocked as this is the same guy who tested positive for marijuana at the scouting combine.
