Free-agent NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is back on his apology tour after he took to Instagram on Tuesday to apologize for disparaging remarks he has made about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger since getting traded by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
“Mostly you a little bit of me ! Yee yee !! I never realized how good I had it, got caught up in my emotion with everyone coming after me I really apologize for my actions sincerely man ! It’s never been another connection like what we done in the past decade. I appreciate you. Sincerely AB”
This apology comes months after he took aim at Roethlisberger by bringing up him being accused of sexual assault in 2009 and 2010.
Brown’s off-field issues caused him to play in just one game last season. It was just last Wednesday when he issued an apology to Roethlisberger as well as the entire Steelers’ organization during an appearance on 93.7 The Fan.
“These guys gave me an opportunity when I was 21 years old, and I’m forever grateful for those guys,” said Brown, who is second in franchise history in career catches, yards and touchdowns. “Got the opportunity to not only play for those guys, but to be in so many amazing moments. (We’ve) been through so much.

“I’m forever grateful and indebted to the Steelers’ organization. Mr. Rooney, Mike Tomlin, Kevin Colbert, Ben Roethlisberger. I started my career with those guys. A lot of beautiful moments, lot of positive things, so it’s not all bad. I just think, from an emotional standpoint, when stuff got bad, it just seemed bad. We had a lot more good moments than bad.”
Roethlisberger tossed Brown 74 of his first 75 career touchdown receptions.
