Ever since Antonio Brown stripped on the sidelines and ran off the field in the middle of a game, people have been attributing his actions and past ones as that of him suffering from CTE.
Well, as luck would have it, he would actually speak on that.
Antonio Brown spoke about the possibility of him having CTE in a podcast interview released Friday.
“CTE, you can’t scan a person for CTE ’til they’re dead, first off,” Brown responded.
Former New England Patriots star Rodney Harrison stated earlier this week that the All-Pro wide receiver could be dealing with brain trauma from playing football. Harrison talked about the hit-to-the-head Brown received from former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict during the 2016 NFL playoffs and how it may have affected him.
“I think he’s suffering from CTE,” Harrison explained. “I think he’s definitely got some symptoms. He’s snappy, mood swings. I mean, you look at this hit from Vontaze Burfict. You look at this hit, and he was completely out. I played 15 years in the league. I was never completely out like that. He’s completely out. That is a concussion. That is something that is going to stick with you for the rest of your life.”

Brown continued:
“When you frickin’ die they test for CTE! So how you going to say a player that’s living in real time, who putting up real stats, who’s standing for real purposes, who’s doing real things, got CTE?
“Bro, I’m a wide receiver! What wide receiver you know has CTE?! Vincent Jackson?
“Did you hear the Tampa Bay Bucs talking about Vincent Jackson’s CTE?!”
Brown continued, “I played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl last year and they had a player who died from what, Bob?!”
“I’m guessing you mean CTE,” the host replied.
“No, don’t guess I mean, it’s factual!” Brown shot back.
“You only contact CTE when you die, bro. So what are you asking me what I got when I’m living?”
Brown then went from that to stating that an he manages stress well and that his blood level “is the equivalent to a Navy Seal.”
He also brought up deceased frmer player Vincent Jackson.
“Vincent Jackson, he used to play for the Bucs. He died from CTE. And the Bucs, on the other hand, say AB’s crazy, he may have CTE, he needs to get some help.
“You think these people care if I got CTE? Did you see them do anything for Vincent Jackson like they did for Demaryius Thomas? Did they put his number on the field?”
