Antonio Brown really wants to get back in the NFL, but he definitely would love to play with Tom Brady once again.
The former New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver was recently on The Mike Calta Show and stated he wants to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers so he can play with Tom Brady who officially became a member of the team on Friday.
“He’s one of those guys that have befriended me,” Brown said on the show via TMZ. “One of my close friends around the NFL.” Brown went on to say that he and Brady remain close despite him being released by the Patriots after the second week of the 2019 season. When Brady signed with the Bucs, Brown said, “I congratulated him, wished him well.”
Only problem fro Brown is that Bruce Arians stated earlier last season that AB was “too much diva” for him.”
“I’ve heard so many stories — I like Antonio — he plays as hard as anybody on Sunday, and he practices hard. He’s just gotta make better decisions off the field, be on time, do some of those little things,” Arians said on The Adam Schefter Podcast.
Brown was asked about Arians, but he had nothing but praise for him., calling him a great head coach and an offensive genius.

“I think when I played with him in Pittsburgh, man, I was averaging like 16 yards a catch,” Brown said of Arians. “I think he like me. I think we had a lot of fun together, man.”
Brown still has to deal with the wrath of his actions off the field before he can even think about signing with a team. The league still has to finish its inestigation into sexual assault claims against him and a suspension is very likely.
“I’m just staying positive and seeing what opportunities are going to come my way once it’s time for me to get back going.”
