Antonio Brown seriously hates the new helmets the NFL is requiring all players to wear going forward.
On HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” we finally got to see just how much the Oakland Raiders wide receiver dislikes it when he was on the field during warmups for a preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals and Brown had a new helmet on.
The video starts with head coach Jon Gruden telling Lisa Salters how much Brown hates the new helmet.
“That’s one of the new and improved helmets, and he really doesn’t like it,” Raiders coach Jon Gruden tells ESPN’s Lisa Salters as they talk on the field during the pregame.
Moments later, cameras catch Brown talking to a teammate.
“This lid? This lid ugly as (expletive) yo,” Brown says.

Brown filed a second grievance with the NFL in another effort to get the preferred Schutt Air Advantage helmet that he wants to wear and has been wearing since he got into the league.
