The Denver Broncos will have a huge decision to make at the quarterback position this off season as they need to decide whether to continue to be led on the field by Russell Wilson, or cut their losses and go in a different direction.
While recently appearing on the I am Athlete podcast, Wilson shared his lofty goals for the next five seasons of his career, which include winning an additional two Super Bowls. Wilson acknowledged that his days in Denver may be numbered, but he hopes to stay with the Broncos to help them bring home those Championships.
Most people who follow football tend to agree that these are unrealistic goals, as Wilson has struggled so far in his two seasons in Denver compiling a 11-19 record while starting 30 games. One person who definitely believes that Wilson won’t be accomplishing his goal is former wide receiver Antonio Brown.
Brown took his X account to let his feelings be known about Russ’ aggressive intentions for the next five seasons.
Brown just posted #CTESPN, @CtespnN in response to the quote from Wilson’s appearance on the I am Athlete podcast. The irony here is that many football followers have accused Brown himself of having CTE over the past several years after his erratic behavior after taking several violent shots to his head.

Many football fans appear to be siding with Brown on this one, as a number of them took to social media to blast Wilson. Here are some of their reactions:
Wilson has a $37 million injury guarantee for 2025 that becomes fully guaranteed in March, so an answer on whether the Broncos will continue to ride with Russ as their starter should be coming very soon.
