It would appear that former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is becoming a legitimate source in the world of sports journalism.
Brown, who claims to have suffered brain damage to the point where he’s named his news reporting platform CTESPN, actually predicted one of the offseason’s biggest trades several weeks ago. And hardly anyone believed him.
That’s correct.
AB reported that Stefon Diggs would be traded to the Houston Texans in mid-March. The receipts are on X/Twitter.

In case you’re thinking it was a lucky swing, Antonio Brown also called Russell Williams’ move to his former team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, before it happened. CTESPN reported that the quarterback had agreed to a one-year deal with the Steelers two days before the news broke.
AB was clowned back then too, and no one gave him credit when Wilson actually signed with the Steelers, likely thinking it was a coincidence. But Brown and CTESPN are making believers out of everyone now.
To be fair, fans can’t be blamed for not considering a dedicated online troll a legit NFL insider, but it’s hard to argue to the contrary as he’s now 2-0. Brown did warn that his reporting on the Wilson development was the “first of many,” so fans will probably pay attention now that he’s outdone his first go at it by predicting a trade a full three weeks in advance.
Of course, you shouldn’t immediately believe everything you see coming from Brown or CTESPN. AB implying he slept with Tom Brady’s ex-wife probably shouldn’t be taken seriously, but he’s earned some serious consideration when it comes to reporting on NFL happenings.
