If there’s been one NFL player who’s had Antonio Brown’s back over the past few years, it’s definitely been Tom Brady. However, last month, that bridge appeared to be burned to the ground after the receiver called out the seven-time Super Bowl winner during a rant on Twitter and a podcast.
AB and Brady have since made up, and it was just in time as Tom Brady decided to hang it up and retire from the game.
One of the final messages of the day came from the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver as he stated he was “grateful” to have been able to play alongside Brady in New England and Tampa Bay.
“Congratulations to the (Goat) @tombrady … I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to play with you, thank you for enabling me to continue my career in my darkest times and helping me become a champion. I am thankful for your leadership and winning mentality to make people around you better,” he said.”
Brown and Brady had amazing chemistry on the field during their only game together in New England and of course back in 2020 with the Bucs as they went on to win the Super Bowl.

If Brown does make a comeback next season, it will be with a new team and a new QB who hopes to keep him under control for an entire year.
