Would the Raiders actually be crazy enough to bring Antonio Brown back to the team after all the chaos he caused the first time around? Well…it is the Raiders.
Antonio Brown’s Oakland Raiders career ended with zero games played after the team elected to cut ties with the 7-time pro bowler in September. Brown requested his release after the Raiders voided the guarantees in his contact by fining him over $215,000 for conduct detrimental to the team following an altercation with general manager Mike Mayock.
Just when you thought the idea of him playing for that franchise ended with his release, Brown went and stated something different.
During a recent podcast with Complex Sports, the controversial WR was asked if he would rule out a Raiders return.
He revealed he had actually spoken to head coach Jon Gruden.
“I don’t know how it’s going to go, but who knows?”
“And if they want to bring it back, we’ll think about it.”

General manager Mike Mayock might have a lot to say about that since a report did come out about how Brown threatened to punch him before punting a football and telling Mayock to “fine him” for that.
It was also reported that Brown went up to Mayock to discuss the fines and called the Raiders GM a “cracker” before spewing a “barrage of cuss words” at Mayock.
